The Dutch International Tango Week, the leading tango festival in the Netherlands, proudly announces the release of a new album that underscores the festival&#8217;s musical ambition. The album, available on Spotify and other major music streaming services, embodies the unique position of the Tango Week not only as a platform for international artists but also as a producer of its own music.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Een festival <em>en<\/em> platenmaker<\/strong><br\/>Waar veel muziekfestivals zich beperken tot het samenbrengen van artiesten, gaat Dutch International Tangoweek verder: het festival produceert ook eigen opnames. Deze dubbele rol versterkt de missie van Tangoweek om de Argentijnse tango als cultureel erfgoed in Nederland levend te houden \u00e9n door te ontwikkelen. <\/p>\n\n<p>Het Dutch Tangoweek Orchestra, samengesteld uit topmuzikanten uit de Nederlandse tango- en jazzscene en onder leiding van pianist-arrangeur Wim Warman, speelt hierbij een centrale rol. Eerder bracht dit orkest al een album it met Nederpop-nummers die in een tango-jasje zijn gestoken. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Over het nieuwe album<\/strong><br\/>Het nieuwe album weerspiegelt de artistieke visie van de Tangoweek: traditie en vernieuwing gecombineerd. De muzikale arrangementen zijn zorgvuldig uitgebalanceerd, met ruimte voor improvisatie, melodie \u00e9n ritme. Door dit eigen productieplatform cre\u00ebert het festival een blijvende culturele nalatenschap die verder reikt dan het festival alleen.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Waarom dit bijzonder is<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Artistieke autonomie<\/strong>: Door zelf opnames te produceren, behoudt de Tangoweek controle over stijlen, kwaliteit en muzikale koers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ondersteuning van Nederlandse musici<\/strong>: Het festival biedt Nederlandse tangomuzikanten niet alleen podia, maar ook kennis, ervaring en netwerk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cultureel erfgoed in beweging<\/strong>: Met deze productie bevestigt Tangoweek haar rol in de evolutie van de Argentijnse tango binnen een Nederlandse context.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internationale erkenning<\/strong>: De Tangoweek heeft in de loop der jaren erkenning gekregen, onder andere via UNESCO-patronage in 2019 en 2023. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Citaat van de organisatie<\/strong><br\/><em>&#8220;Met dit album geven we de Tangoweek een extra dimensie,&#8221;<\/em> zegt zakelijk leider Frank Perquin. <em>&#8220;Het maakt onze artistieke ambitie hoorbaar \u00e9n herhaalbaar, ook buiten het festivalweekend.
