Otros Aires was founded in Barcelona in 2003 by Argentine musician, architect and video artist Miguel Di Genova. From the beginning, the goal was clear: renew tango without losing its soul. While traditional tango ensembles stick to classical form and instrumentation, Otros Aires seeks to bridge the gap between the past and the present – a “tango of the 21st century.” From their first album, released on December **11, 2004 – on the day known in Argentina as Tango Day and marking Carlos Gardel’s birthday – the group has left an unmistakable mark on the music world.<\/p>\n\n
