The Dutch International Tango Week is proud to present an exceptional guest this year: Claudio Constantini. For this special performance he is coming exclusively to the Netherlands for an intimate solo concert in the atmospheric Aegtenkapel.
Constantini is known worldwide for his unique mastery of both bandoneon and piano. In this solo program he connects Argentine tango with his own compositions and surprising excursions to Bach. In doing so, he reveals what few people know: the bandoneon was originally designed to play Baroque music, and Bach in particular. In his hands, that historical link becomes not only audible, but palpable.
The concert promises to be a rare musical experience where virtuosity, emotion and depth come together. From hushed moments to fiery tango, this performance lets the full richness of the instrument and music speak for itself.
